I tend to disagree. There's little chance you're fitting Salvage Tackle rigs to your ship, while my Executioner has three. Add this to my Salvaging Level V and Salvage improving implants, and this means all I need to do is get within 5K of your wrecks, and they're mine. We're Recruiting!

It just seems to conjure up an image that I believe we all subscribe to. We appear from the darkness, in deadspace, where many Mission Runners never expect us. Our ships fly quickly to salvage the wrecks, sometimes while the Runner is still shooting his targets. Once complete, we disappear as quickly as we came.
